A groin injury has ruled him out of recent games, but he was returned to the starting XI by new manager Roy Hodgson for the visit of Southampton this afternoon.
And he put in a very impressive despite Palace struggling in the game.

Those fans will now be hoping that Loftus-Cheek can continue his strong performances throughout the rest of this campaign before returning to Stamford Bridge as an even better player next summer.
And then maybe he’ll get an opportunity to play in Antonio Conte’s team? Failing that, it’ll be a player Chelsea will be able to sell at a good price.
