Alan Pardew Reports Draws Very Mixed Response From Rangers Supporters

Alan Pardew is being liked with the vacant manager’s job at Rangers this afternoon – and the news has resulted in a very mixed reaction from the club’s supporters.

The English coach has been out of work since being sacked by Crystal Palace in December 2016 and, according to the Daily Mirror, the former Newcastle and West Ham boss has been in contact with the Gers hierarchy over replacing Pedro Caixinha.

The 56-year-old is undoubtedly an experienced coach, and he’s definitely enjoyed relative success at several stages of his managerial career.

He guided West Ham to promotion from The Championship, whilst managing to finish 5th in the Premier League with the Magpies, as well as being linked with the England job at one time.

But along with those successes have been several relegation fights, as well as several sackings – leaving a lot of fans unsure if he’d be the right man for Ibrox:

What do you think?

Could Pardew be the man required to spark a Rangers revolution?
