The Chilean attacker has been impressive in the FA Cup tie this evening, proving a constant thorn in the Terriers’ side and laying on Lukaku for his second goal.
Lukaku actually hit the first goal, running on to Juan Mata’s through ball before firing home.
Then he scored another in the second half, being put through by Sanchez before hitting the back of the net.
Given they had a goal from Mata controversially ruled out in the first half, United would have been hoping to score early in the second half to be much more comfortable.
So there was some delight among the players and supporters when Lukaku hit that second goal – including some kids who invaded the pitch to celebrate with their heroes.
One ended up very lucky as Sanchez hoisted him up in the air to join in the players celebrating:
What a day for that young kid.
