Juventus will travel stateside for pre-season this summer, with WWE legend Ric Flair being called upon to confirm that the Serie A champions will play in the annual MLS All-Star match.
Several of Europe’s elite have flown to the United States in recent years to compete against the MLS’s best players, with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Celtic all having taken part.
And in 2018, it’s the Bianconeri’s turn.
Paolo Dybala, Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini will be amongst the Juve players to make the trip for what’s sure to be an interesting contest.
David Villa, Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore are all expected to be included for the MLS… so with plenty of big names lined up, ESPN needed a superstar to announce the fixture.
Step up legendary WWE wrestler Ric Flair, the undisputed King of promotional videos:
The 69-year-old does a tremendous job, albeit that it’s incredibly bizarre to hear a former wrestler in the role.
Nonetheless, it should be a decent match-up, scheduled to fall between the World Cup final and the start of next season.
