The Sky Sports pundit was back at his brilliant best for Monday Night Football last night as he teamed up with Jamie Carragher to recap the weekend of Premier League action as well as the game between Crystal Palace and Liverpool at Selhurst Park.
They spent a lot of time on Arsenal, who lost 3-2 to Chelsea a week after losing to Manchester City on the opening weekend.
Carragher made the point that Emery must adapt his approach to get his team winning games quickly, but Neville disagreed.
And while giving his take on the former Paris Saint-Germain manager sticking to his style, Neville also had a dig at Allardyce.
The ex-England gaffer labelled Emery’s style of building from the back as ‘stupid’ and said Arsenal shouldn’t have been so expansive against City a week ago.
But Neville isn’t having that:

In fairness to Neville, Allardyce has never managed at Emery’s level and probably doesn’t know the challenges of stepping into a job like the Arsenal one.
