Morton Fans Hang ‘Judas’ Banners On Motorway As Ray McKinnon Returns To Cappielow With Falkirk

Morton fans draped ‘Judas’ banners over a motorway footbridge ahead of Ray McKinnon’s return to Cappielow.

The Ton supporters hung the signs on the busy M8 road ahead of their clash with Falkirk in the Scottish Championship today.

It comes after former boss McKinnon left to join the Bairns after just three months in charge.

The decision prompted a furious backlash from fans – and even led to local newspaper the Greenock Telegraph branding the ex-Dundee United gaffer ‘Judas’ on their back page.

Police Scotland have expressed concerns for McKinnon’s safety on his return to Cappielow following his abrupt exit from the club.
