Timo Weah Says Goodbye as He Confirms Celtic Spell is Over

Timo Weah has said goodbye to the Celtic faithful after confirming his time at the club has ended.

The PSG attacker has been on loan at the club since January, appearing 17 times under Brendan Rodgers and then Neil Lennon.

We told you earlier how he’d been called up to the USA Under 20 team for the World Cup in Poland this summer and how that would rule him out of the Scottish Cup Final.

And now Weah has confirmed he won’t play any part in the remaining three games of the season for Celtic after Lennon told him to head off to prepare for the World Cup.

In an Instagram post, Weah wrote:

Weah will now likely head back to PSG for training ahead of the World Cup starting with USA.

And then he’ll have some decisions to make on his future in the summer.
