Ozil was heralded as one of the best play-makers in the world when he played with Real Madrid, and his outstanding displays for Los Blancos and Germany persuaded the Gunners to shell out a whopping £42 million for Ozil in the summer of 2013.
But, in recent times, the enigmatic star’s form hasn’t been what it used to, and his underwhelming and lethargic display in May’s crushing 4-1 defeat to Chelsea in the Europa League Final might’ve been the last straw for plenty of the North London club’s fans – but not for @afczu.
He’s produced a thread – no, in fact, it’s more like a dossier – on why Ozil is still a superior player to Silva, who was once again instrumental in guiding City to a domestic clean sweep of trophies in the 2018/19 campaign.
