Gary Neville Brands Romelu Lukaku ‘Overweight and Unprofessional’

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has branded Romelu Lukaku ‘overweight and unprofessional’, with the striker’s Old Trafford exit looming.

The Belgium forward is closing in on a deadline day big-money transfer to Inter Milan after failing to prove himself as an elite striker for the Red Devils, following his £75 million move from Everton in 2017.

And it seems Lukaku won’t be missed by Sky Sports pundit Neville, who has hit out at the 25-year-old former Chelsea star’s physical condition in a Twitter conversation with United We Stand editor Andy Mitten this afternoon, whilst calling his unprofessionalism contagious:

According to the Sun, Italian giants Inter are shelling out a whopping £76.5 million fee in order to sign Lukaku from United, so is he really as out-of-shape as Neville is making out?

And as a player with a pretty decent goal record in the Premier League, will United regret letting a player of Lukaku’s ability leave this summer?
