Ruben Loftus-Cheek produced an impressive performance as Chelsea’s Under 23s beat Everton last night.
The English midfielder has been on the road to recovery for all of this season so far, last playing for the first team on May 12th last season.

That could come over the next few fixtures after Loftus-Cheek completed his first 90 minutes for the Under 23s last night.
They beat Everton 1-0 thanks to a penalty from Luke McCormick – a penalty won by Loftus-Cheek and the highlight of his game.

Chelsea are next in action when they play Liverpool in the FA Cup tonight, but Loftus-Cheek won’t be involved in that.
Instead, he could make a return to the bench when Chelsea play Everton on Sunday or Aston Villa the following weekend.
