FLASH BACK

Last week in Fast Forward I wrote that in terms of competitive boxing… there was nothing doing… twice… both for the week ahead and the one thereafter. Following last night the 15th of January and the footage that has escaped from Dubai, I can confirm that there was indeed no competitive boxing.

Steven Ward, of Belfast, gave away an unbelievable 9 stone in weight to take on Hafthor Bjornsson, 2018 World’s Strongest Man,in an exhibition bout. They are not releasing the result until later today of the three rounds but of what I have seen it was a run around a ring for the period of time they were in it. Despite Ward teasing he was dropped I can see no evidence nor likelihood as he evaded Bjornsson throughout. In the absence of anything else, it happened…
